As a master goldsmith, Sharon Teaman has been designing and creating fine jewelry for over 24 years. In 1972, Sharon earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Art from The Pennsylvania State University. In 1978 she earned her Master’s Degree in Metal Arts. She was a full time instructor of 3 dimensional art and jewelry design during the first 10 years of her career. Even now, with a show schedule of 18 to 20 shows per year, she has apprenticed up to 3 Penn State students each year. Her love of precious metals, stones, and the pursuit of perfection has been her driving force.

Sharon uses a jewelry design software which allows for computer imaging capabilities, which are virtually endless. All of her designs are filed by computer image and can be transformed to accommodate any stone, ring, size or shape. Sharon is able to design and modify an item of jewelry on the computer, and email it to the prospective client. This makes "the creation" of a piece of jewelry an incredibly exciting adventure, allowing the customer and the designer to eliminate the "guess" work.

All of the finished pieces that have been created for customers, are appraised, photographed, and archived in special computer files, which are kept in vaults. These files can be accessed at any time for insurance claims and replacement values. This will save you time and money, by giving you the ability to email your jewelry photographs and information directly to your insurance company.
